Duties
- Conduct visual inspections of roofing systems on construction sites to assess quality and safety standards
- Assist senior inspectors in reviewing construction plans, specifications, and schematics for compliance with building codes and regulations
- Collect data during site visits, documenting conditions, materials used, and work progress accurately
- Support quality control processes by identifying potential issues related to construction quality inspections and building code compliance
- Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to understand project requirements and ensure adherence during inspections
- Help monitor safety regulations on-site, ensuring all work aligns with construction safety standards
- Collaborate with project teams to report findings, support inspection documentation, and contribute to quality assurance efforts
Requirements
- Basic familiarity with Microsoft Office tools for data collection and reporting purposes
- Construction site experience or exposure to public works construction projects is highly desirable
- Knowledge of construction regulations, building code analysis, and safety regulations relevant to civil infrastructure roles
- Strong analysis skills with the ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints effectively
- Experience or interest in construction management, contracts, and construction inspection processes
- Ability to work on construction projects involving pipelines or other civil infrastructure components
- Excellent attention to detail for conducting construction site inspections and quality control assessments
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and document inspection findings clearly
