ERP Test Manager – Oracle Fusion ERP
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced ERP Test Manager to lead the testing and quality assurance function for a large-scale Oracle Fusion ERP transformation program. This role will be responsible for establishing and managing end-to-end testing strategies across Oracle Fusion Finance, Human Capital Management (HCM), and Procurement modules, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, secure, and business-ready solutions.
The successful candidate will oversee all testing activities, including functional, integration, regression, automation, performance, security, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT), while collaborating closely with business stakeholders, project teams, and system integrators.
Key Responsibilities
Testing Strategy & Quality Governance
- Develop and implement enterprise-wide testing strategies, frameworks, methodologies, and governance processes.
- Define testing standards, quality metrics, acceptance criteria, and reporting mechanisms.
- Ensure end-to-end traceability between business requirements, test scenarios, execution results, and defect resolution.
- Establish quality assurance controls aligned with organizational and regulatory standards.
Test Planning & Execution
- Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of all testing phases, including functional, integration, regression, performance, security, and automation testing.
- Review and approve test plans, test cases, test scripts, and execution reports.
- Manage defect lifecycle processes, including identification, prioritization, root cause analysis, and resolution tracking.
- Ensure testing activities are delivered on schedule while maintaining quality and risk management standards.
Test Automation & Tools Management
- Manage and optimize the use of Jira and Xray Test Management tools for planning, execution, reporting, and traceability.
- Leverage existing automation frameworks and recommend enhancements where appropriate.
- Support integration of automation tools such as Selenium, Oracle Test Manager, or equivalent platforms within CI/CD environments.
- Monitor testing KPIs, quality metrics, risks, and release readiness indicators.
Stakeholder Engagement & UAT Management
- Collaborate with business leaders, project managers, functional teams, and system integrators to define testing objectives and success criteria.
- Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) planning, execution, issue resolution, and business sign-off activities.
- Provide leadership, coaching, and guidance to testing teams while driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline.
Experience
- Minimum 10 years of experience in software testing and quality assurance.
- At least 7 years of ERP testing experience.
- Minimum 3 years managing Oracle Fusion ERP testing programs or large-scale ERP implementation testing cycles.
- Proven experience across Oracle Fusion Finance, Human Capital Management (HCM), and Procurement modules.
- Strong experience in both manual and automated testing methodologies.
