ETC – Quality Process Engineer Jobs in Eunice, NM at Urenco
Part time- Quality Assistant to the QM – (8am-12pm)
We are looking for a responsible and motivated part time Quality Assistant to assist the Quality Manager on quality paperwork, reviewing quality of all incoming and outgoing material and products. You will be a firm advocate of quality in our company. The ideal candidate will possess a trained eye for detail and will be reliable and committed.
Must be able to speak English and Spanish.
Responsibilities
Read blueprints and instructions to comprehend the quality expectations for the product and supplies
Approve or reject raw materials with respect to quality standards and record supplier performance
Assist the Quality Manager as required.
File reports and records for the Quality department.
Select output samples and check them using appropriate methods (measuring dimensions, testing functionality, comparing to specifications etc.)
Use measuring tools such as calipers and various gauges to ensure correct dimensions
Maintain records of testing, information and various metrics such as number of defective products per day etc.
Monitor the use of equipment to ensure it is safe and well-maintained and discard any that doesn’t meet requirements
Prepare and submit reports to the Quality Manager
Skills
At least 1-2 years proven experience as quality inspector or relevant role
A keen eye for detail and a results-driven approach
Responsible and trustworthy
Familiarity with quality measurement tools.
Knowledge of quality control standards and testing methodologies
Knowledge of quality control standards is a strong plus (ISO 9000 etc.)
Working knowledge of MS Office
High School diploma or equivalent.
Must be able to speak English and Spanish.
Job Type: part time, onsite
Pay Range: $19.00-$21.00 per hour.
