- Monitor and maintain buyer-wise running order status, ensuring timely updates and effective communication with all concerned departments.
- Review inline and final fabric inspection reports, conduct counter inspections when necessary, and make final quality acceptance or rejection decisions.
- Coordinate with Production Planning, Monitoring & Control, Delivery, and Warehouse teams to ensure smooth transfer and release of approved fabrics meeting all quality parameters.
- Closely monitor production startup activities for each order and proactively identify quality risks, informing relevant departments for immediate corrective actions.
- Supervise dye lot inspections, shade approvals, and submission processes, ensuring compliance with buyer requirements and timely updates to concerned stakeholders.
- Coordinate with the Testing Laboratory to obtain and review test reports, communicate failed results to relevant departments, and follow up on corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Maintain and preserve quality records, including shade continuity reports, GSM reports, fabric inspection reports, and test reports for buyer audits and reference visits.
- Participate in buyer visits, quality reviews, and technical discussions to address quality-related concerns and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Prepare fabric weight sheets and authorize fabric release to the warehouse/store after successful quality verification.
- Monitor fabric quality performance, analyze defects and recommend continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with buyer quality standards, company SOPs, and industry best practices throughout the manufacturing process.
- Effectively utilize manpower, supervise subordinate staff, and provide continuous guidance, coaching, and performance monitoring to achieve objectives.
Requirements
- Experience: 3+ years
- Education: bachelor of science in textile engineering (te)
