Position: Experienced NDE Technician Role
Embrace a pivotal role as an NDE Technician at Seaspan in North Vancouver, Canada. Focus on executing non-destructive testing while ensuring compliance with industry specifications in this fully on-site position.
As part of a 24-month limited-term project, you will take charge of daily in-process and final inspections, making sure contract requirements are met consistently. Collaborate with your team to address any issues of non-conformance and streamline quality processes. Your expertise in NDT will be essential in supporting both shop personnel and quality assurance efforts during inspections.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct daily documentation of NDE inspection results
• Review NDT requests to ensure compliance with specifications
• Attend inspections and communicate results effectively
• Conduct periodic supplier audits for compliance
• Assist in quality improvement initiatives and document updates
Requirements:
• Valid CGSB Level II MT and RT certifications required
• Over 5 years of experience as an NDE Technician
• Familiarity with UT and PT methods a plus
• Understanding of quality control standards and procedures
• Ability to develop comprehensive Quality and Inspection Plans
