Position Overview: Boeing Commercial Airplanes is seeking an Experienced or Senior Supplier Quality Specialist (Level 3 or Level
4) based in Boston, Massachusetts or Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The role involves oversight of supplier QMS, evaluating product quality, and ensuring compliance with Boeing standards.
Responsibilities include:
Conducting onsite audits of Boeing procured materials, parts, and assemblies.
Assessing supplier capability and capacity, ensuring compliance with specifications and regulations.
Creating and delivering presentations to senior management.
Applying root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.
Mentoring and coaching on quality systems and compliance.
Performing source inspections and delegating product acceptance.
Evaluating supplier performance and developing training resources.
Recognizing risks and holding suppliers accountable for mitigation.
Supporting external conformities and demonstrating high emotional intelligence.
Protecting the Boeing brand through professional conduct.
Basic Qualifications:
3+ years in Quality, Supplier Quality, or Supplier Management.
3+ years experience with RCCA and CAPA.
3+ years experience with AS9100 or similar QMS standards.
Ability to travel up to 75%.
Preferred Qualifications:
5+ years of related experience or equivalent education.
Experience with project leadership and cross-functional teams.
Proficiency in MS Office and project management tools.
Knowledge of quality tools like FMEA, SPC, MSA, and improvement methodologies like Lean, Six Sigma.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
