Europtex Fashion Limited is looking for Fabric Inspector / Quality Control Inspector
Job Description / Responsibility
- Examine Textiles: Unroll and scan fabric on lighted inspection machines to spot stains, holes, slubs, knots, or misweaves.
- Apply Standards: Use the 4-Point System or company criteria to grade fabric quality.
- Test Properties: Check GSM (grams per square meter), width, shrinkage, and color fastness when required.
- Record Data: Log defect counts, roll lengths, and accept/reject statuses into tracking sheets or computer systems.
- Coordinate Teams: Report damaged or sub-standard lots directly to supervisors, cutting rooms, or suppliers for replacement.
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor/Honors
- [BGMEA University of Fashion Technology ]students will get preference
Experience Requirements
- 4 to 8 year(s)
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
- Garments,Buying House
Additional Requirements
- Knowledge: Familiarity with woven and knit fabrics, dyeing variations, and standard defect types.( specially KNIT)
- Attention to Detail: High visual acuity and focus to catch minute flaws during continuous roll movement.
- Technical Skills: Ability to use measuring tools, GSM cutters, pick counters, and basic software (MS Excel)
