Summary
The Quality Supervisor is responsible for work related to product assembly, ensuring cost-effective operations and the delivery of quality products. Role provides quality support to the business development team, resolving defects, and other potential issues.
Supervisory Responsibilities
Oversees the work and assignments of quality engineers and technicians.
Responsibilities
Supports business development or operations team by providing analysis and expertise throughout the inspection process.
Identifies root causes of problems in the production process; recommends and/or implements corrective measures.
Analyzes data to identify trends in product quality or defects with the goal of mitigating and preventing recurrence and future defects.
Implements audits throughout the supply chain, ensuring quality standards, safety and legal requirements, and company policies and specifications are met.
Collaborates with clients, customers, and other stakeholders to identify and resolve problems with delivered products.
Conducts or assists with performance and failure analysis of defective products or materials; identifies, recommends, or executes corrective actions.
Provides technical and administrative support and guidance to direct and indirect reports.
Analyzes, reviews, and approves manufacturing processes, documentation, and operations.
Develops and implements strategies to increase quality.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Reports to Quality Manager
Education and Experience
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is preferred
At least 3-5 years of experience in quality engineering is preferred
Experience in AS9100D and IATF 16949 environment is desired
Experience in CNC Machine Shop environment is desired
CMM programming experience is a plus

Strong metrology knowledge related to precision machining and aerospace parts
Mechanical drawing reading and GD&T knowledge.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40,000.00 – $50,000.00 per year
