Job Description:
As a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer, you will play a key role in our Application Engineering Squad for Patient Engagement, reporting to the Manager of Engineering. This position is an integral part of our dynamic Engineering team.
Responsibilities
Quality Ownership – Champion quality across the Patient Engagement team, ensuring high standards throughout the software lifecycle.
Collaboration – Work closely with engineers, product managers, and designers as an active Scrum team member, contributing both individually and collaboratively.
Test Planning & Execution
Develop comprehensive test plans and cases.
Estimate, prioritize, and coordinate testing activities.
Execute manual and automated tests, documenting defects.
Automation
Design, develop, maintain, and troubleshoot automated tests using AccelQ, a low-code test automation platform.
Analyze automated test results and monitor system performance for defects.
Defect Management
Identify, document, and track defects through resolution.
Collaborate with engineers on root cause analysis and error identification.
Feedback & Review
Review requirements and technical designs, providing actionable feedback.
Contribute to sprint planning to ensure testability.
Metrics & Continuous Improvement
Track and report QA metrics (e.g., defect counts, escape rates, incident trends).
Stay updated on testing tools and industry trends to enhance QA processes.
Qualifications
Technical Expertise – strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
Knowledge of the Document Object Model (DOM) and web application structures.
Familiarity with relational and document-based databases.
Proficiency in SQL for querying and validating data.
Basic understanding of CI/CD pipelines and practices.
Experience with Application Performance Monitoring (APM) tools (e.g., Datadog).
Analytical Skills – strong problem-solving and root cause analysis abilities.
Soft Skills
Excellent communication and collaboration across engineering and product teams.
Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
Preferred Skills
Experience with at least one automation platform (e.g., AccelQ).
Experience with performance and security testing.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development.
Ability to automate web tests using an established framework. AccelQ experience is a plus.

Base Salary Range: $125,000 – $140,000 + 10% Corporate Bonus.
