What You’ll Do
Provide oversight and ensure implementation of quality assurance requirements for nuclear and non-nuclear facilities, maintaining consistency with CNS quality standards.
Ensure compliance with NNSA principles and internal requirements for plant site activities.
Support operational, infrastructure, maintenance, procurement, and construction activities to meet mission goals.
Perform B31 examinations and discipline-specific quality inspections.
Lead or participate in QA audits, assessments, and surveillances, communicating findings effectively.
Identify risk areas for assessment based on performance metrics.
Assist plant personnel in interpreting and implementing quality requirements.
Support the development and maintenance of storage areas.
Review and approve infrastructure and maintenance activities, ensuring technical accuracy.
Verify completed work packages and participate in facility tier meetings.
Represent the Quality group in team meetings and make technical decisions regarding quality requirements.
Assist in resolving non-conformances and support quality control functions.
Analyze metrics related to quality activities.
Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to meet customer requirements and schedules.
Contribute to organizational performance and support organizational priorities.
Complete required training to support organizational activities.

Minimum
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree with at least 2 years of relevant experience or equivalent education/experience.
Master’s degree with at least 1 year of relevant experience or equivalent experience.
Alternative combination of education and experience may be considered.
Must meet DOE O 426.2A requirements, including relevant nuclear experience.
Preferred
Job Requirements
Medical clearance to wear respirator and work in hazard areas.
Knowledge of NQA-1, Commercial Grade Dedication, and Safety Systems.
Experience as B31 examiner and Quality Control Engineer.
Understanding of regulatory requirements and quality management systems.
Experience with specifications, drawings, and supplier interfacing.
Knowledge of corrective actions, non-conformance reports, and regulatory impacts.
Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.
Technical knowledge in engineering, construction, testing, or operations.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and SharePoint.
Skills in data analysis, reporting, process improvement, and statistical methods.
Experience in nuclear-grade construction and inspection, with certifications like Welding Inspector preferred.
