William Grant Tank & Vessel, Inc. is looking to hire an experienced Quality Assurance Specialist to join our production team.
Essential job duties:
Adhere to all applicable governing codes, customer specifications, and company procedures
Perform routine inspections and quality tests
Address and discuss quality issues and proposed solutions with superiors
Document quality assurance activities
Act as liaison with third-party inspectors
Perform weld tests for perspective and current employees
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in relevant field, preferred
Certification, preferred
Proven experience inspecting pressurized vessels
Excellent math abilities and working knowledge of data analysis and statistical methods
In-depth understanding of quality control procedures and relevant legal standards
Familiar with ASME code
MS Office proficiency
Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings
Knowledge of safety standards and willingness to use protective clothing
Bilingual a must, English-Spanish
Excellent communication skills, listening, comprehension and feedback
Strong team building and decision-making
High attention to detail
Strong work ethic, and the ability to handle peak work times
Physical requirements:
Climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, lifting, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, repetitive motions, medium work, visual acuity
