Responsibilities
Manage the overall Field Quality Control inspection team and oversee quality processes (visual, dimensional and document)
Create and maintain an effective field quality assurance plan that meets company and industry standards
Development and adherence of field / site quality testing and procedures
Reviewing and analyzing quality control field reports and implement corrective action procedures
Initiate and participate in quality investigations to support corrective actions and failure analysis
Travel throughout New Brunswick and Nova Scotia based on project needs to provide oversight to field inspectors
Planning and coordinating field testing of construction materials
Additional duties as assigned
Technical Requirements
Post secondary education
Civil engineering or technology is an asset
Prior experience in a quality assurance environment and/or within the construction field
Supervisory experience in the concrete / construction industry would be considered a strong asset
Fluent ability to read and interpret construction drawings
Knowledge of CSA, ASTM and DTI Standards
Business Requirements

Desire to work well in a fast-paced, deadline-driven, and customer-focused environment
Willingness to travel to project construction sites as required
Cultural Requirements
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with individuals of diverse backgrounds & disciplines, including various levels of management
