Join Our 2nd Shift Quality Team! – Quality Inspector | Huntington, IN
Are you an experienced Quality Inspector looking to make an impact with a world-class manufacturer? Our Huntington, IN location is currently seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Quality Inspector to join our dynamic 2nd Shift PHD Quality Team.
About the Role:
As a Quality Inspector, you’ll play a key role in ensuring that our products and materials meet the highest standards of quality. From inspecting incoming and outgoing parts to conducting tests and supporting floor operators, your attention to detail will help us uphold our strong commitment to quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
Inspect incoming, in-process, and outgoing parts, as well as raw materials
Operate CMM equipment and assist operators with inspection tasks
Perform calibration activities
Set up gage kits; maintain and monitor inspection equipment inventory
Report defects, shortages, or breakages
Communicate clearly and effectively with team members and supervisors
Work independently or as part of a team to uphold company standards
Requirements:
Minimum 1 year of experience in quality inspection
Proficiency with inspection gages (calipers, micrometers, etc.)
Strong computer skills and familiarity with various software
Ability to read blueprints and apply GD&T principles
Knowledge of manufacturing processes and shop terminology
High School Diploma or equivalent
