Our manufacturing teams typically work four, 10-hour days on either first or second shift and our front-office team works Monday through Friday, 8AM to 5PM. SUMMARY
The Quality Inspector is a versatile position handling a multitude of responsibilities and tasks. This person is responsible for measuring products using a variety of hand tools, CMMs and optical comparators. Completing and maintaining inspection data per company, customer and AS9100 requirements. Preparing paperwork for shipment to customers.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

CMM Programming
Conduct first piece, sampling and final inspection using a wide variety of metrology equipment
Recommend adjustments to the assembly or production process
Remove all products and materials that fail to meet specifications
Discuss inspection results with those responsible for products
Report inspection and test data
Use CMMs to inspect product
Versatile team player
Review purchase orders for accuracy on QA requirements for products made by suppliers
Assist in controlling documentation
Prepare customer required paperwork and dock audits as needed for shipments
Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

CMM operation and programming experience a plus
5+ Years of experience in Aerospace (AS9100)
General understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
Experience in generating AS9102 reports a plus
CATIA V5 experience a plus
Must have general working knowledge of MS Office
Embraces multi-tasking with proven organizational skills
Must be customer focused and maintain a positive, “can do” attitude
Motivated, self-starter who may take on new roles and responsibilities as needed
Excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing
Positive influence for other team members
Highschool Diploma or GED

POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED WORK HOURS
This is a full-time position with a typical work schedule of Monday through Thursday, 6:00am to 4:30pm, with overtime being worked on Fridays as needed. There may be times where there is an expectation to work extended hours as dictated by business needs.
