Job
Purpose
Performs product inspection and audits of quality control programs. Conducts packaging line and manufacturing inspections, sampling, and testing of incoming components and raw materials. Ensures raw materials, in-process, and finished products meet company standards. May apply approval or rejection labels to bulk raw materials after evaluating analytical data.
Responsibilities
Provide immediate quality feedback to SMT operators during production.
Record findings in the quality management system.
Perform First Articles (FA) inspections.
Read and interpret work instructions, deviations, BOMs, and travelers.
Assist other areas such as Final QC and Final Kit Audit Verification.
Inspect TLA Mechanical components, sub-assemblies, and cable routing.
Qualifications
2-4 years of experience in SMT Quality Assurance/Inspection per IPC-610 class 2/3 (PCBA and Mechanical components).
Experience verifying feeders on and offline.
Knowledge of component identification, polarity verification, workmanship inspection, and part value verification using digital meters.
Experience with microscopes, ohm meters, and magnifying tools.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Salary Range (annual): $42,000 – $53,000 ($20 – $25 hourly). Actual pay will depend on experience, education, certifications, and skills. Benefits include health insurance, life and disability insurance, savings plan, paid holidays, PTO, and possibly stock awards or bonuses.
