What You’ll Be Doing

The main purpose of the role is process analysis, improvements and automation, as well as quality process coordination within the Finance department.

Your main activities in this role will cover mains areas:

• Process Analysis & Design
• AI Enablement & Use Case Design
• Quality management
• Audit & Compliance

This Role Entails Activities Such As

• Regarding Process Analysis & Design your activities will involve:
• Lead end-to-end workflow design for new/ existing processes in collaboration with managers and Finance Heads, ensuring alignment with business needs
• Conduct in-depth business process mapping (as-is / to-be) across Finance sub-departments, identifying inefficiencies, redundancies, and transformation opportunities
• Ensure all redesigned and newly created processes are accurately modeled and formally documented as required by ISO Quality Management Standard
• Define/ Gather, structure, and document functional requirements from business stakeholders, translating them into clear process and AI opportunity statements
• Diagnose operational pain points and structure them into actionable problem statements and solution pathways
• Develop blue print roadmaps that sequence initiatives by impact, feasibility, and strategic alignment
• Regarding AI Enablement & Use Case Design your activities will involve:
• Identify AI opportunities embedded within Finance processes, leveraging process analysis to pinpoint where AI can deliver the highest value
• Co-create and design AI use cases with business and technical teams, ensuring they are grounded in real process needs and business context
• Prioritize AI initiatives based on feasibility, process impact, and ROI, and build supporting business cases for investment decisions
• Define KPIs for each AI-powered process improvement
• Collaborate with technical teams to ensure AI solutions are functionally aligned with business and process requirements, contributing to solution briefs and functional specifications
• Support UAT phases and post-deployment monitoring to validate that AI solutions deliver expected process outcomes
• Drive user adoption of AI-enhanced processes through structured change management and training frameworks
• Act as an on-the-ground problem solver, rapidly iterating on AI use case designs based on stakeholder feedback and real-world constraints
• Stay updated on AI trends and capabilities to continuously identify new opportunities for process innovation within Finance
• Regarding Quality management your activities will involve:
• Initiate and lead the annual process and documentation assessment cycle, determining which procedures and work instructions should be retained, revised, or decommissioned, in line with the applicable validation policy
• New procedures / work instructions: Define end-to-end workflows for new processes, ensuring documentation reflects quality principles and operational reality
• Existing procedures / work instructions: Assess obsolescence, lead improvement analysis, update ARIS mappings, and ensure formal documentation is current and accurate
• Drive the creation, review, and maintenance of process documentation across all Finance sub-departments, establishing the update roadmap for the following year
• Manage and maintain the Finance Department's quality site, ensuring all procedures and work instructions are up to date, version-controlled, and easily accessible
• Coordinate the collection of input from Finance sub-departments and facilitate the validation of cross-functional procedures and work instructions with relevant stakeholders
• Regarding Audit & compliance your activities will involve:
• Prepare and participate in internal and external audit missions to ensure ongoing compliance with applicable ISO standards
• Perform internal audit missions according to Orange Romania internal planification and in compliance with applicable ISO standards
• Collaborate with the ORO Audit Quality team, as well as with external auditors, throughout all phases of audit planning and preparation
• Present audit findings — both internal and external — to impacted Finance Heads, and co-develop structured remediation plans to address identified gaps within agreed timelines
• Monitor and follow up on the resolution of all audit findings, ensuring timely and complete remediation in line with commitments made

What We’re Looking For

We are looking for a Finance AI Process Improvement & Quality Assurance, which is why you need to have:

• Proven experience in stakeholder management across different levels
• Ability to work effectively in transversal projects involving multiple teams
• Strong communication skills — able to translate complex topics into clear language
• Demonstrated ability to think and act independently, proposing solutions without waiting to be directed
• Very good analytical skills — goes beyond surface observations to identify root causes
• Very good planning and organizing skills — manages multiple workstreams simultaneously
• Strong time management — prioritizes effectively and executes with discipline
• Capacity to respect deadlines and track issues through to full resolution
• Proactive, solution-oriented mindset with a continuous improvement attitude

What You Need To Know/have

• University degree in Economics, Information Technology, Mathematics, or related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in process analysis, optimization, and documentation
• Advanced experience in business analysis and process optimization
• Advanced proficiency in process mapping tools (Visio, ARIS)
• Proven hands-on experience with AI technologies and process automation — real implementation experience required, mandatory
• In-depth knowledge of process improvement techniques and quality management
• Experience in documenting procedures and working instructions
• Solid knowledge of project management principles and practices
• Experience in developing and implementing roadmaps
• Lean Six Sigma certification is an advantage
• English — advanced level, mandatory
