1.0 PURPOSE
The purpose of this job description is to describe the responsibilities and authorities including the desired competencies of the Corporate Quality Manager. This description is not all inclusive and can be changed or modified to meet the business needs.
2.0 SCOPE
This covers the job description for the Corporate Quality Manager.
3.0 RESPONSIBILITY AND AUTHORITY
3.1 Reports to the Vice President of Operations.
3.2 Ensure that all aspects of their department are conducted in accordance with policies, principles, and procedures of the organizations QMS
4.0 JOB DUTIES
4.1 Development, maintenance and continuous improvement of the quality management system
4.2 Management representative for ISO
4.3 Oversee customer satisfaction issues and concerns
4.4 Responsible for inspection of incoming products
4.5 Act as the company compliance officer for documentation
4.6 Perform additional duties as needed
5.0 COMPETENCIES
5.1 Education: High School Diploma or equivalency required. College degree preferred. Any equivalent combination of experience, training and/or education
5.2 Experience: 5+ years experience in managing ISO 9001 quality management system. 5+ years management experience.
5.3 Language/Communication/Interpersonal: Ability to read, write and speak fluent English. Strong written, verbal, active listening and phone communication skills. Ability to communicate effectively and in a professional manner. Ability to negotiate (i.e. ability to use full and complete information to negotiate best arrangement). Ability to work in a team environment.
5.4 Analytical: Detailed oriented. Ability to plan, organize, prioritize and multi-task. Solutions-driven. Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages).
5.5 Technical: Ability to use standard office equipment. Basic computer skills, ability to use a Microsoft Office suite. Basic technical phone skills.

7.1 Stand, sit, bend, stoop, walk frequently
7.2 Read computer monitor for extended periods
7.3 Lifting up to 50 lbs occasionally

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 – $95,000.00 per year
