We are looking for a Quality Control Technician to join our fun, dynamic and passionate team and to be a part of something great! This is a 1st shift position.

Quality Control Technicians are primarily responsible for testing all batches of finished product to ensure quality standards are being adhered to and must perform their job duties with employee safety and food safety and quality in mind. This includes following all safety, housekeeping, GMP’s, and other policies and procedures related to the task being performed. Quality Control Technicians are required to adhere to accurate record keeping requirements and must maintain a high level of accuracy when conducting and documenting various quality checks throughout the production process.

Education & Previous Experience:

Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred, specifically in food.
Previous experience in a Quality Control/Lab role preferred.
High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
2 year degree preferred.

Knowledge and Skills Needed to Perform Effectively in this Position:

Must have an aptitude to make rational judgments based on conditions and facts on hand under a faced paced situation.
Possess strong attention to detail skills.
Ability to complete assignments with minimal direction.
Good interpersonal and communication skills.
Demonstrate mechanical and mathematical aptitude.
Effective problem solving ability, including recommending and taking corrective action.

Physical Requirements:

Must be mobile and be able to travel/navigate throughout the facility.
Must be able to frequently lift 50 pounds without assistance.
Must be able to read documents and use equipment.
Must be able to hear well enough to communicate with internal and external contacts.
Must be able to occasionally climb, stoop or kneel to perform routine tasks within the scope of the job.
Must be able to grip/grab objects.
