Position: Food Safety Leadership Role at Give & Go
Drive food safety excellence at Give & Go Prepared Foods Corp. as a Food Safety Manager in Etobicoke, ON. Implement key safety programs that uphold compliance and quality standards in production.
In this 12-month contract, you’ll be responsible for executing and monitoring food safety practices tailored for manufacturing and supply chain operations. Your work will include conducting thorough risk assessments, guiding HACCP validations, and ensuring all safety measures meet industry benchmarks. Collaboration across teams is critical for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage deployment of food safety management programs
• Conduct and oversee HACCP validations and risk assessments
• Ensure documentation for QA reports and safety audits
• Develop and implement food safety improvement strategies
• Partner with operational teams to tackle food safety issues
Requirements:
• Bachelor of Science or equivalent experience required
• At least 8 years of experience in food safety
• HACCP certification preferred
• Familiarity with data analysis and Microsoft Office tools
• Strong communication and leadership capabilities
