Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage the Food Safety, QA & QC function across all operations.
Ensure compliance with FSSC 22000, ISO 22000, HACCP, and applicable legal and regulatory requirements.
Develop, implement, and maintain food safety policies, procedures, and quality management systems.
Plan and conduct internal audits, management reviews, and coordinate external audits.
Monitor and manage product quality, laboratory testing, calibration, and validation activities.
Investigate food safety incidents, non-conformities, and customer complaints and implement CAPA.
Monitor food safety and quality KPIs and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Train, develop, and supervise QA/QC and food safety teams.
Ensure effective food safety practices across production, operations, supply chain, and other relevant functions.
Work closely with Production, Operations, Supply Chain, and Clients to maintain food safety and quality standards.
Promote a strong food safety culture through employee engagement, training, and continuous awareness.
Maintain accurate documentation, reporting, and data analysis related to food safety and quality.
Provide leadership and guidance on food safety risks and quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements

Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Microbiology, or a related field.
Minimum 7+ years of experience in Food Safety, QA/QC, preferably within large-scale catering or food production.
At least 3 years of experience in a managerial/leadership role.
In-depth knowledge of FSSC 22000, ISO 22000, HACCP, GMP, and relevant food safety regulations.
Strong knowledge of food safety management systems, audits, CAPA, quality control, and regulatory compliance.
Strong leadership, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in documentation, reporting, KPI monitoring, and data analysis.
Ability to manage teams and work effectively with multiple departments and stakeholders.
