Position Overview
We are seeking a full-time QC Inspector to perform inspections and generate reports. The ideal candidate will have firsthand experience in a machine shop environment, be skilled in blueprint reading, proficient with inspection tools, and dedicated to quality, process control, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Perform dimensional inspections using a variety of inspection tools and Mitutoyo CMM.
Accurately document inspection results and maintain quality records in 1Factory and other digital system.
Read and interpret technical drawings/blueprints.
Manage and maintain inspection tools and equipment located in the QC Lab.
Collaborate with production and quality team to resolve non-conformances.
Support internal and external audit.
Maintain a clean and organized inspection area.
Follow all safety protocols and participate in lean manufacturing and 5S initiatives.
Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality control inspection in a machine shop environment.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and step files.
Proficiency in using measuring instruments and inspection tools to verify part conformity, including Mitutoyo CMMs.
Capable of working independently while maintaining high productivity and quality standards.
Experience with tight tolerance machining (±0.002” or better) and various materials including aluminum, stainless, titanium, and plastics.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Possess an intuitive ability to critically observe and solve problems.
Compensation
Starting: $29/hr. and up, depending on experience.
