Our client is a well-known food manufacturer. Due to growth, seeking a Food Safety Quality Assurance (FSQA) Manager to join the production team. Primary responsibilities include:
- Manage Food Safety programs and ensure products adhere to quality standards.
- Adhere to USDA and FDA regulations and policies
- Provide FSQA reports to production team, management and stakeholders
- Manage 3-4 QA technicians
- Perform periodic internal audits.
Position reports to Plant Manager
Ideal candidates for FSQA Manager will possess the following
- Bachelors degree in Food Science, Biology or related fields
- 7+ years in highly perishable products–meat, seafood, dairy, etc.
- Experience with SQF, PCQI standards, HACCP and GMP.
- Understanding of FDA and USDA regulations
Salary up to $135k/yr. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401k, FSA, etc.
