Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Test Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and performance of our software products through rigorous testing and analysis. This role requires a strong understanding of software testing methodologies, as well as experience with various testing tools and techniques. The Test Engineer will collaborate closely with development teams to identify issues early in the development cycle and ensure that all software releases meet high standards of quality.
Duties
Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for various software applications.
Conduct thorough software troubleshooting to identify defects and ensure functionality aligns with specifications.
Utilize LoadRunner for performance testing to assess application scalability under different load conditions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams in a DevOps environment to implement continuous integration practices.
Manage release cycles by participating in release management activities, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality software.
Analyze test results and provide detailed reports on findings, including recommendations for improvements.
Utilize Jira for tracking defects and managing project tasks effectively.
Engage in business analysis to understand user requirements and translate them into actionable test scenarios.
Skills
Proficient in software testing methodologies and tools, including LoadRunner.
Strong experience with server management and troubleshooting within a software environment.
Familiarity with Jira for project management and defect tracking.
Knowledge of DevOps practices, particularly in relation to continuous integration processes.
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to analyze complex data sets and derive meaningful insights.
Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on software troubleshooting techniques.
Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members across various departments.

Pay: $102,953.00 – $110,333.00 per year
