Food Safety & Quality Coordinator
Budapest | International F&B Company
Have you worked in hotels, restaurants or catering and enjoy making sure food safety standards are consistently met across multiple locations?
Do you enjoy being out in the field rather than sitting behind a desk?
We're looking for a Food Safety & Quality Coordinator who enjoys solving problems, improving standards and making sure things are done the right way.
This is not a laboratory role. This is not a manufacturing quality position.
You'll be working across 21 food service units, ensuring that food safety, hygiene and quality standards are consistently maintained in day-to-day operations.
If you like auditing, coaching, investigating issues and driving continuous improvement, we'd love to hear from you.
What you'll be doing
• Conduct regular audits and inspections across restaurants and food service units
• Monitor compliance with HACCP, food safety and hygiene standards
• Verify food storage, temperature records, FIFO, labelling and allergen management
• Identify risks, investigate non-conformities and follow up corrective actions
• Prepare audit reports and documentation in English
• Support international reporting requirements
• Cooperate with Operations, Safety and Sustainability teams
• Assist with incident investigations and continuous improvement initiatives
This role combines approximately 60% field work and 40% office-based activities.
We're looking for someone who has
• Experience in Food Safety, HACCP or Quality Assurance
• Background in restaurants, hospitality, catering, hotel or F&B operations
• Strong English communication skills (written and spoken)
• Excellent organisational and administrative skills
• Confidence to work independently and make decisions
• Willingness to travel between operational sites
What we're offering
• Competitive compensation package based on experience and qualifications
• SZÉP Card contribution (HUF 30,000/month)
• Daily breakfast and lunch
• Travel support (public transport or parking)
• Stable international environment
• Opportunity to influence food safety standards across multiple locations
• Support from experienced Safety and Sustainability professionals
You'll have the opportunity to shape food safety standards across 21 operational units within an international organisation.
If you have worked in Food & Beverage operations, hospitality or food safety and you're looking for a role where you can make a real impact, we'd be happy to hear from you.
