FPI Inspector Level II – 2nd Shift Jobs in Phoenix, AZ at F&B MFG LLC
Buffalo Medical Group is seeking a full time Lab Technician.
Lab Technician will work at Williamsville and Orchard Park locations and hours will vary between 7:00am-8:00pm Monday-Friday and 8:00am-1:00pm Saturday. NYS Clinical Lab Technician license required.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Performs chemical analysis of blood and other body fluids to determine chemical components.
Performs hematological examinations making complete blood counts, including microscopic examinations of body cells to identify abnormalities.
Performs other blood test or body fluid tests as ordered for patient care.
Performs quality control checks of instruments, solutions and test results against established standards. Logs performance of equipment, including daily temperature checks and humidity checks.
Prepares reagents, stains and other chemical solutions.
Processes and logs patient specimens and enters test results on forms.
Act as phlebotomist when necessary.
Collects data and compiles statistics as directed.
Maintains a clean and safe environment by daily cleaning areas, washing counters, emptying contaminated trash containers, cleaning up spills and all other duties necessary to sustain an appropriate work area.
Assist in training and partake in continuing education programs.
Performs all duties and tasks, technical and non-technical, assigned that are necessary to maintain peak performance of all personnel, clinical laboratory and satellite locations.
Complies with BMG Corporate Compliance Policy and HIPAA regulations.
Will participate in worksite safety training programs.
QUALIFICATIONS: AAS degree in Medical Laboratory Technology, ASCP preferred, NYS license is required. Ability to communicate clearly and maintain effective working relationships with patients, staff and public.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.26 – $39.47 per hour
