We’re seeking a Fractional Director of Brand Growth to partner directly with our Founder & CEO and lead the next phase of growth.
This is not a traditional marketing position. We’re looking for someone who understands how to build and scale consumer packaged goods (CPG) brands, increase retail sales, drive e-commerce growth, and create lasting consumer demand.
You’ll have the opportunity to shape the future of an emerging beverage brand while working in a flexible, remote capacity.
What You’ll Do
Retail Growth
* Develop strategies to increase sales velocity at existing retail partners.
* Create retail marketing programs that drive in-store purchases.
* Support expansion into new grocery chains and specialty retailers.
* Develop merchandising, sampling, and promotional initiatives.
* Partner with brokers and distributors to support growth.
Brand Strategy
* Lead the overall brand growth strategy.
* Strengthen RESORT’s position as the go-to premium mixer for cocktails and mocktails.
* Build campaigns centered around entertaining, hospitality, and inclusive gatherings.
E-Commerce Growth
* Grow Shopify sales through email, SMS, paid media, and conversion optimization.
* Increase repeat purchases and customer lifetime value.
* Develop subscription and bundle strategies.
Digital Marketing
* Oversee Meta, Google, Pinterest, TikTok, and emerging platforms.
* Measure ROI and optimize customer acquisition.
* Build a scalable digital marketing strategy.
Partnerships
Develop relationships with:
* Hotels and resorts
* Golf clubs
* Wedding venues
* Caterers
* Restaurants
* Event planners
* Tourism organizations
* Corporate gifting partners
* Influencers and content creators
Community & Brand Awareness
* Develop ambassador and influencer programs.
* Identify PR and media opportunities.
* Coordinate product launches and seasonal campaigns.
* Build a community around the RESORT lifestyle.
Analytics & Reporting
Track and report on key metrics including:
* Retail sales
* New retail accounts
* E-commerce revenue
* Customer acquisition cost
* Repeat purchase rate
* Marketing ROI
* Social engagement
Present monthly recommendations to the Founder.
Who You Are
You are both a strategist and an operator. You’re comfortable developing a growth plan and helping execute it.
You have experience scaling food, beverage, or consumer brands and understand what drives retail success.
Preferred Qualifications
* 7+ years in CPG, food & beverage, or consumer brand marketing
* Experience growing brands in grocery retail
* Strong understanding of Shopify and e-commerce marketing
* Experience with Meta Ads, Google Ads, Klaviyo, and analytics platforms
* Proven success increasing retail sales and consumer demand
* Excellent communication and project management skills
* Entrepreneurial mindset and comfortable working in a startup environment
Compensation
* Fractional contract: Approximately 15–20 hours per week
* Compensation: $4,000–$5,500 per month, based on experience
* Performance Bonus: Available based on achieving agreed-upon growth milestones
* Flexible schedule
* Remote position with occasional travel to Charleston, SC
Success in the First 12 Months
The successful candidate will help RESORT:
* Expand distribution beyond our current retail footprint.
* Increase sales velocity at existing retailers.
* Grow nationwide e-commerce revenue.
* Launch strategic partnerships with hospitality and event organizations.
* Build a scalable brand marketing engine.
* Strengthen customer retention and brand loyalty.
* Position RESORT as the premium mixer brand for both cocktails and mocktails.
