Job Position: Fresher Automation QA
About the RoleWe are looking for a passionate Fresher Automation QA Engineer who loves to ensure product quality through testing and automation. You’ll work closely with developers and QA seniors to design and execute automated test scripts, primarily using JavaScript/TypeScript and Playwright. This is an excellent opportunity to start your QA career in a professional environment with strong mentoring and hands-on project experience.Responsibilities
- Collaborate with QA and development teams to understand product features and testing requirements.
- Write, execute, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright (or other JS-based frameworks).
- Participate in functional, regression, and integration testing.
- Identify, document, and track bugs or inconsistencies.
- Contribute to continuous testing improvements and automation coverage.
- Learn and apply best practices in automation framework design and CI/CD integration.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of JavaScript or TypeScript programming.
- Understanding of software testing concepts, test case design, and bug reporting.
- Familiarity with any automation testing tool (Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, etc.) is a plus.
- Good English communication skills (both written and spoken).
- Analytical thinking, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude.
- Strong teamwork spirit and eagerness to learn.
Nice to Have
- Hands-on experience with Playwright in study projects or personal practice.
- Familiarity with Git, CI/CD, or API testing tools (e.g., Postman).
