Job Description
We are currently seeking a FSQA Process Improvement Supervisor. This position will be responsible for supervising process lines at our RTD beverage manufacturing plant. Responsibilities include overseeing daily food safety and food quality checks on manufacturing lines, tracking and trending quality data, investigating complaints and challenges on processing lines. The role may also involve supervising FSQA technologists and managing their schedules.
The candidate will work with various departments to implement cloud-based quality systems and must have experience with SQF systems.
Job Duties:
Supervise FSQA shift employees and direct their daily work processes to ensure food safety and quality parameters are met.
Oversee trial runs to ensure all specifications and documentation requirements are captured.
Perform Quality Assurance testing, record results, and complete required paperwork promptly.
Track key KPI metrics in Safety Chain and generate automatic reports.
Assist with Safety Chain implementation across processes and train employees in its use for data collection.
Maintain quality assurance standards and procedures, including testing, data collection, and product traceability.
Analyze issues related to out-of-tolerance quality, holds, rejects, and RCA/CAPA programs.
Develop or update policies and procedures related to quality control.
Potentially serve as an internal auditor and assist with risk analysis, SQF, and customer audits.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Obtain BPC Certification (Better Process Control) as required.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree required; preferably in a science discipline.
Two to five years of QA-related experience preferred, or equivalent education and experience.
Experience with Food Safety/Security auditing, GMPs, Pest Control, Bio-Terrorism knowledge, and HACCP certification is preferred.
ISO background is a plus.
Ability to manage and motivate personnel.
Strong initiative with proactive issue anticipation.
Sound math and analytical skills.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Compensation:
Starting Pay Rate: $70,000.00
