Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Manager to oversee our quality assurance processes and ensure compliance with honey industry standards.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality control, document control, testing equipment and the implementation of food safety systems. This role is critical in maintaining our commitment to delivering high-quality products while adhering to regulatory requirements such as CGMP, HACCP, and BRC/SQF policies.
Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance protocols and procedures to ensure compliance with CGMP, HACCP, and BRC/SQF standards.
Conduct regular quality audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement and ensure adherence to established quality systems.
Lead the quality control team in performing thorough inspections of products throughout the manufacturing process.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions as necessary.
Manage projects related to quality improvement initiatives, ensuring timely completion and adherence to project goals.
Train and mentor staff on quality assurance practices and procedures to foster a culture of quality within the organization.
Prepare detailed reports on quality metrics, audit findings, and improvement plans for management review.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Quality Management, BRC/SQF Compliance, or a related discipline.
Proven experience in quality assurance or quality control within a manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of CGMP, HACCP, Certifying bodies, and other relevant regulations.
Excellent project management skills with the ability to lead initiatives from conception through execution.
Familiarity with fabricating processes and quality inspection techniques is preferred.
Experience conducting quality audits and implementing effective corrective actions.
Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.

Pay: $65,000.00 – $75,000.00 per year
