Job description
The Fuel Quality Technician works in the Scale Shack and is directly responsible for receiving fuel into the plant; performing all task associated.
The Responsibilities are:
- Operate computerized truck scale to weigh fuel received.
- Conduct visual inspections and take samples of fuel received and report quality variations.
- Responsible for quality assurance and quality control of fuel deliveries.
- prepre fuel quality reports accurately and timely.
- Perform moisture analysis and other test procedures (fuel sizing, ash, etc.)
- Performing preventative maintenance of the fuel handling system, heavy equipment and all yard maintenance.
- Perform assigned duties in a safe and environmentally responsible manner;
- Perform other related duties as required
QUALIFICATIONS
- A valid drivers license
- Ability to provide clear oral and written communications skills as well as, effectively communicate with and take direction from other plant personnel/supervisors
- A high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- An individual that can show initiative and be self-sufficient in his work;
