Role: Functional Tester
5-7 years – Chennai
Direct Responsibilities
Understanding Requirements, Test Plan & Strategy documents preparation, Test Scenario, Test Case, Test data preparation.
SIT Execution (Functional, Regression, Integration testing, UAT support) & individual contributor
DSR preparation
Contributing Responsibilities
Co-ordinating within team & other interface teams
A good team player with problem-solving attitude
Technical & Behavioral Competencies
Wealth Management / Asset management
Securities (Equities, bonds, derivatives, Struct. Prods…)
Quality center/HP-ALM-Octane
Postman API Testing (Good to have)
Automation knowledge (Good to have)
Specific Qualifications (if Required)
5 years+ experience as a Test Analyst in a financial institution
Strong Functional knowledge of Back Office processes, financial products, trade life cycle obtained either through an IT core system implementation project or via positions held within the Operations department of Bank.
Strong exposure to Securities and derivatives
Good Knowledge in preparing the scenario for Performance testing
Good at interface and end to end testing during SIT/UAT phase
Exposure to trading products testing is a plus
