We're looking for an experienced Game QA Manager to join our team on a contract basis and lead quality assurance efforts for an active game project.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building efficient QA processes, leading testing teams, and ensuring game quality throughout development. You'll work closely with developers, designers, and producers to identify risks early, improve testing coverage, and help deliver a polished player experience.
Location : Malaysia / Indonesia
Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate QA activities throughout the project lifecycle
- Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and QA documentation
- Manage bug tracking, prioritization, and reporting processes
- Coordinate testing schedules and milestone validation
- Monitor game quality, identify risks, and communicate findings to stakeholders
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure timely issue resolution
- Mentor and support QA team members and external testers when applicable
- Establish and improve QA workflows and best practices
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Game QA
- Minimum 2 years of experience leading or managing QA teams
- Experience shipping at least one commercial game title
- Strong knowledge of QA processes, methodologies, and reporting
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience with bug tracking and test management tools
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
