GDP Operational QA, Specialist/Sr. Specialist (Contract) 24363 Jobs in Boston, MA at Vertex Pharmaceuticals
As a Quality Lab Technician, you will provide assistance to the Quality Assurance laboratory with different Quality initiatives. You will work onsite in Ennis, TX and you will report to the QA Supervisor.
Main Responsibilities:
Help obtain supplies and calibrating equipment
Analyze production samples and raw material samples for physical and chemical characteristics
Investigate quality and production issues including customer complaints per supervisor requests
Prepare samples for internal and external customers as requested
Maintain quality production records in a timely manner
Assist the Quality Assurance Supervisor in maintaining the ISO9001 responsibilities
Suggest changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase safety and efficiency of shop, department, or employees
Ensure adherence to appropriate government regulations and company procedures
Any ad-hoc task or project assigned by management
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED
2+ years of manufacturing experience
Valid Driver’s License; local travel required
Demonstrated computer experience
Demonstrated good communication skills
Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs
