Hardware in the loop (HIL) Test Lead Jobs in Richmond, VA at Systems Ally

Our company is seeking a Quality Assurance Tester (Manual QA) to join our team. The candidate will be part of a team implementing a large, enterprise system for the NYC Department of Education.

This role is open to remote candidates, though if possible, those that can come in 2-3 times a week would be ideal. This a contract role, specifically for this project. We are only looking for candidates in the U.S.A and do not offer sponsorship or relocation assistance.

Our interview process has 2 rounds.

Responsibilities:

Design and write test scripts and test suites to ensure adequate coverage
Perform functional testing based on written scripts
Perform ad-hoc, negative, regression, data, integration, and accessibility testing
Create detailed bugs in JIRA ensuring adequate data on reproducing the issue is available
Collaborate with development and testing teams to identify and prioritize testing from a risk-based perspective
Participate in test script reviews and requirement reviews

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Must be located within the U.S.A. and authorized to work in the country
At least 2 years of experience as a quality assurance analyst
Great understanding of JIRA, Confluence

Nice to Have:

At least 4 years of experience in software automation testing
Experience in risk-based testing
Experience in data-driven testing and developing automation scripts
Expertise in SQL
