Your Role
We are looking for an intern to join our Hardware Quality Assurance team here at KOKO! This is a great opportunity for someone who is curious about hardware systems and passionate about quality. Our QA team ensures that our in-house designed hardware products — from smart fuel dispensers to embedded systems — meet high standards of reliability, safety, and performance through structured lab and field validation.
The core project for this internship will be owning the lab maintenance and setup and running core tests and building documentation around the testing.
What You Will Do
You will work alongside experienced hardware QA engineers and technicians to support product validation and testing activities
You will:
Assist in setting up and executing structured hardware test plans in lab and field environments
Operate standard lab tools and measurement equipment under supervision (multimeters, power supplies, environmental chambers, etc.)
Document observations, test results, and deviations clearly and accurately
Learn and follow lab safety protocols and quality control procedures
Collaborate with QA engineers to identify anomalies and escalate issues
Contribute to ongoing efforts in improving test documentation, procedures, and data accuracy
This is a hands-on role designed to help you build technical and analytical skills while learning how hardware systems are validated in a production-grade QA environment
What You Will Bring
Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or related engineering discipline
Basic familiarity with electro-mechanical systems
Use of lab equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and power supplies
Safe handling and assembly of mechanical and electronic components
Basic data analysis using spreadsheets or simple dashboards
Other skills:
Strong attention to detail and methodical approach to tasks
Eagerness to learn, ask questions, and engage with testing processes
Good written and verbal communication
A team mindset and willingness to follow instructions carefully
Nice to Have
Experience with basic CAD or 3D modeling tools
Exposure to electronics debugging or soldering
Familiarity with test documentation or structured testing methods
Interest in IoT-connected hardware or smart energy solutions
