AST Knitwear Limited is looking for Head of Quality
Job Description / Responsibility
- Lead and oversee end-to-end QA/QC operations (fabric inspection, readymade garments pre-inspection, inline, midline, final inspection, and shipment approval)
- Develop and implement quality standards, SOPs, and compliance frameworks aligned with buyer requirements
- Ensure adherence to AQL standards and minimize defects, rework, and rejection rates
- Coordinate closely with Production, Merchandising, Technical, and Compliance teams
- Handle buyer audits, factory audits, and third-party inspections.
- Analyze quality data, drive Root Cause Analysis, and corrective action plans (CAP)
- Ensure product consistency across all production lines and styles
- Lead, train, and develop quality teams (inspectors, auditors, supervisors)
- Monitor pre-production and bulk production quality performance
- Ensure on-time shipment clearance with zero compromise on quality standards.
- Prepare and present quality reports and KPIs to top management.
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor/Honors
- Skills Required: Quality Control Audit/ Inspect, Quality Management, Quality assurance and control, AQL
Experience Requirements
- 15 to 20 year(s)
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
