Position: Health and Safety Specialist at Intelcom
Drive workplace safety at Intelcom | Dragonfly as a Health and Safety Specialist. Oversee compliance and continuously enhance health and safety programs across the organization.
In this pivotal role, you will support the implementation of the health and safety strategic action plan. You will manage daily health and safety operations at various sorting stations and develop training programs for staff. Collaborate with managers on safety compliance audits and accident investigations to promote a safe workplace environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement the health and safety action plan company-wide
• Conduct safety compliance audits and analyze performance metrics
• Develop and deliver health and safety training programs
• Oversee the health and safety audits for all operations
• Manage occupational injury files and corrective actions
Requirements:
• University degree in relevant fields, e.g., OHS
• 4-5 years of relevant health and safety experience
• Knowledge of Canadian health and safety laws
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Valid driver’s license required
