Job Description

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Healthcare and Biology Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst with strong Python programming skills to join our team on a short-term contract basis. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality, accuracy, and integrity of our chemical and biological products and processes.

Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance procedures and protocols for chemical and biological products, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Conduct routine and targeted inspections of production areas, equipment, and personnel to identify and address potential quality issues.

Review and analyze batch records, production data, and quality control (QC) results using Python-based tools to assess product quality and process performance.

Collaborate with the QC team to investigate out-of-specification (OOS) results, deviations, and customer complaints, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs).

Participate in the validation of new processes, equipment, and methods, ensuring that they meet predetermined acceptance criteria.

Assist in the preparation of regulatory filings and inspections, and liaise with regulatory authorities as needed.

Provide training and guidance to production and QC staff on quality assurance concepts, procedures, and regulations.

Continuously monitor and improve the effectiveness of the quality management system (QMS) by leveraging Python-based analytics and automation.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, or a related field. A Master’s degree or higher is preferred.

Proven experience as a QA Analyst, QA Specialist, or similar role in the chemical or biotechnology industry.

In-depth knowledge of quality assurance principles, procedures, and regulations, including Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), and ISO standards.

Strong understanding of chemical and biological processes, equipment, and analytical techniques.

Proficiency in Python programming, including data manipulation (e.g., Pandas), visualization (e.g., Matplotlib), and statistics (e.g., SciPy).

Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and quality management software (e.g., TrackWise, Sparta).

Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to evolving priorities.

This is a short-term contract position with the possibility of extension or transition to a full-time role based on performance and business needs.
