ASRC Federal Gulf States Constructors is seeking a Quality Assurance Auditor to support activities under the Sheppard Air Force Base contract in Wichita Falls, Texas
Description:
Responsible for evaluating and verifying processes, products, and systems to ensure they meet established quality standards and regulatory requirements.
This role involves conducting thorough audits, reviews, and assessments to identify potential issues or non-compliance.
QA Auditors collaborate with cross-functional teams, departments, and external stakeholders to ensure that procedures and practices align with industry regulations and organizational policies.
They meticulously examine documentation, records, and practices, seeking inconsistencies, deviations, or areas for improvement. QA Auditors also develop and implement audit plans, document findings, and recommend corrective actions to enhance quality and compliance.
Effective communication skills enable them to provide feedback to teams and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. With attention to detail, critical thinking, and a comprehensive understanding of quality assurance principles, QA Auditors play a crucial role in upholding quality standards, optimizing processes, and ensuring the integrity and reputation of the organization.
Key responsible for random sampling; functional area leads assume QC Inspection duties of their area with KP as back-up; performs QA on ODCs (e.g., contract equipment, vehicles, tool boxes, etc.); vehicle maintenance manager w/ CDL and SAFB Airfield Driver’s License; assigned duty: Buyer and alternate Records Inventory Manager in support of the Records Management; Privacy Act; and FOIA Program and manage the program IAW AFI 33-322
Requirements:
Associate degree in related field.
Minimum three (3) years’ related experience in a capacity responsible for performance or products. Sufficient field experience to determine non-conforming services and products quality.
Special Training: ISO 9001:2008 Internal Auditor and Six Sigma Green Belt certification (or higher) desirable.
