Duties
- Perform detailed inspections of residential and commercial properties, focusing on building code compliance and safety regulations
- Review construction plans, specifications, schematics, and blueprints to understand project requirements
- Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress, quality control, and adherence to contractual obligations
- Collect data during inspections, document findings accurately, and prepare comprehensive reports
- Analyze technical drawings and schematics to verify construction accuracy and identify potential issues
- Ensure public works construction projects meet regulatory standards through regular site inspections
- Assist in interpreting construction regulations and building codes to support compliance efforts
Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and inspection softwares for report writing and data management
- Construction site experience or background in construction work is highly desirable but not required.
- Strong understanding of building code analysis, construction regulations, and safety standards
- Experience with quality inspection processes and construction quality control methods
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, schematics, and construction plans
- Knowledge of public infrastructure construction projects and public works inspection procedures
- Excellent analysis skills for assessing construction site conditions and compliance issues
- Familiarity with construction management practices, contracts, data collection techniques, and pipeline or infrastructure schematics
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to perform thorough construction site inspections while maintaining safety standards
