Duties
- Conduct thorough inspections of guest rooms, suites, and public areas to verify cleanliness, safety, and overall presentation.
- Identify areas needing cleaning, repairs, or maintenance, and communicate these needs promptly to housekeeping staff or management.
- Ensure all cleaning procedures adhere to established standards, including floor care, sanitation protocols, and industrial cleaning techniques.
- Monitor housekeeping staff performance, providing guidance and feedback to uphold quality standards.
- Maintain detailed inspection reports and logs to track cleanliness levels, maintenance issues, and corrective actions taken.
- Assist in training new housekeeping team members on inspection procedures and quality expectations.
- Promote a culture of cleanliness, safety, and hospitality by leading by example and encouraging best practices among team members.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or custodial roles within hospitality or industrial settings.
- Strong knowledge of floor care techniques and industrial cleaning methods.
- Previous hotel or hospitality experience is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with housekeeping management practices and quality control standards.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to identify cleanliness issues quickly.
- Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and management.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift cleaning equipment, and perform physical tasks required for inspections.
