Brand Nutraceuticals, Inc. is a contract dietary supplement manufacturing and packaging facility.
The Quality Inspector supports operations by sampling, inspecting, and releasing incoming components and materials for manufacturing and packaging departments.
Key Responsibilities
Performing the Inspection and Disposition of all incoming products; Raw Materials, Bulk Products, and Packaging Components.
Verify material identification against documents: Purchase Order, Product Labels, and Certificate of Analysis (COA).
Take product samples for retention and samples for QC Laboratory.
Complete in-process paperwork.
Complete and maintain area logbooks.
Ensure the company is in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Regulations by reporting any and all non-compliances or concerns to QC Management.
Other duties as assigned.
Skills
Communicates well (verbally and written).
Multi-Tasking with strong time-management skills.
Highly organized.
Identify and resolve discrepencies in a timely manner.
Must be willing to operate Forklift and other Warehouse Equipment. Heavy lifting is required periodically to transfer product in a sanitary sampling room (45-55 lbs).
Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
Education/Training & Experience
Minimum of one (1) year of relevant work experience. If no relevant experience, must be willing to learn.
Must be proficient with Microsoft Office and computer literate.
