Human Feedback Contributor Jobs in Paris, Île-de-France, France at Pixel Systems

Title: Human Feedback Contributor

Company: Pixel Systems

Location: Paris, Île-de-France, France

We are adding a Human Feedback Contributor to our internal quality assurance team. This person will help us verify the accuracy of technical summaries and software documentation generated for our engineering and operations clients. We are looking for someone currently based in France for this part-time remote contract. We have established tax and payroll processes for contractors in France and require local residency for compliance purposes.

About Pixel Systems
Pixel Systems is a small, remote software agency that builds the systems teams rely on every day. We do not focus on consumer apps or marketing sites. Instead, we spend our time on the practical side of software: admin panels, CRM integrations, and database migrations. Our clients come to us when they need to replace a disorganized spreadsheet with a real database or get their existing software tools to communicate effectively.
Our approach is straightforward. We provide fixed quotes before we start, perform weekly demos, and hand over the code and documentation when we finish. We use stable, well-tested technologies like Node, React, and Postgres because we want the systems we build to be easy to maintain. We are a team of professionals who prefer solving operational problems over chasing trends. When something needs fixing, we handle it directly.

The role
The Human Feedback Contributor handles a specific set of responsibilities within our internal report review cycle. Much of our initial documentation, such as technical architecture summaries and internal audit reports, is drafted with the help of automated systems. In this role, you will perform a weekly research note QA pass to ensure these drafts are accurate and consistent with our source materials.
You will report to the documentation lead and work within a shared document workspace. Your primary task is to review prepared summaries against primary source files, such as interview notes from clients, technical specifications, and database schemas. You will be checking for unsupported claims, identifying inaccurate technical descriptions, and verifying that the final text follows our internal style guide. This is structured work that requires following a detailed review checklist for every document. You will also document recurring errors in our internal tracker to help us improve the drafting process over time.
This is a part-time contract role classified as an independent contractor engagement. The workload is typically 15 to 20 hours per week. The initial contract length is six months, with the possibility of extension based on project needs. Compensation will be disclosed during the interview process and is paid monthly in EUR.

What we are looking for
To do well in this role, you need a high level of attention to detail and a methodical approach to reading technical text. We are looking for the following qualifications:

  • A university degree or equivalent professional experience in a field involving heavy reading and writing.
  • At least 2 to 3 years of experience in proofreading, editorial QA, documentation, or business writing.
  • Ability to read and write English at a high professional level to catch subtle technical errors.
  • Familiarity with basic software development or IT terminology. You do not need to be a developer, but you should understand what a database migration or a CRM integration is.
  • A reliable computer and a stable internet connection for remote work.
  • Current residency in France.

Helpful background
While not strictly required, we find it helpful if you have experience with some of the following:

  • Experience using collaboration tools like GitHub, Trello, or shared document editors.
  • A background in technical writing or research assistance.
  • Familiarity with structured review rubrics or QA metrics.
  • Experience working in a remote environment as a contractor.

Working at Pixel Systems
Working with us means becoming part of a small, focused team. We do not have many layers of management, so you will spend your time doing the work rather than sitting in meetings. We value clear communication and predictable results. You will see the results of your work quickly because we ship updates to our production systems every week. We respect your schedule and provide the documentation and guidance you need to complete your reviews independently. This is a quiet, steady role for someone who enjoys the process of making technical information more accurate and reliable.
Pixel Systems is a small agency that values stability and directness. We build tools that warehouse managers, logistics coordinators, and operations teams use to get their jobs done. If you enjoy the process of verifying information and contributing to a well-run documentation workflow, this role provides a consistent environment to do just that.
