About the Role
The Quality Control Technician (Incoming) is responsible for establishing and maintaining an effective and streamlined incoming inspection program for purchased materials, components, and raw materials. This is an onsite position so we can only consider qualified candidates who live within a commutable distance to the corporate office.
Responsibilities
Perform thorough visual and dimensional inspections of incoming materials, components, and their paperwork to verify conformance to specifications and quality standards.
Perform component inspections using Keyence measurement and/or visual system.
Follow sampling plans and inspection procedures to ensure consistency and accuracy in inspections.
Utilize appropriate measuring instruments and equipment to conduct inspections effectively.
Identify and document any non-conformities or deviations from specifications, segregate product, and escalate issues to the appropriate stakeholders.
Record and analyze inspection data, ensuring compliance with acceptance criteria and quality standards.
Maintain accurate and organized records of inspection results for traceability and future reference.
Qualifications
H.S. Diploma or equivalent required, college degree AA, BA (preferred).
>3 years experience in an IQC role within the medical device industry.
Experience working in a cleanroom manufacturing environment.
