Your Role

The Quality Assurance Technician for gages is responsible for managing the gage calibration system. You will report to the Quality Manager.

This is a 1st shift opportunity: 6:00am-2:30pm.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

Manage all aspects of the gage calibration system
Leads gage R&R activity for new and existing gages
Enter requisitions in Syspro for required services and other QA supplies
Track inventory of lab supplies needed for the equipment lab and rivet ops met labs
Access customer websites to retrieve customer scorecards when they are available and summarizes the data
Perform inventory movement transactions in Syspro
Assists the Quality Engineers and Supervisor when required
Create work instructions when required
Support the Quality department with record scanning
Support compliance with ISO9001/IATF16949 and customer specific requirements
Other related duties as required by the Quality Engineers or Quality Assurance Manager
Reports to the Quality Assurance Supervisor, Specialist and Engineer

To succeed, you will need

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

1-year experience performing gage calibrations and using gage calibration software desired
Working knowledge of quality systems
Skills with Windows and MS Office applications
Experience with QDA and Syspro a plus
Ability to communicate effectively at all levels, good interpersonal skills
Organized, with excellent attention to detail. Self-motivated with ability to prioritize assignments
Ability to work independently and in a team environment

EDUCATION OR QUALIFICATIONS:

High school diploma or equivalent experience require
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS (AS APPLICABLE):
Some periodic lifting (under 20 pounds) will be necessary
