*** This role is for our location near Las Vegas. Monday-Friday, daily Per diem paid is $140. Paid 7 days a week if 5 days are worked. Must have industrial experience.
Summary
We are seeking a Quality Assurance Inspector to join our team at Mountain West Industrial. This role is crucial in maintaining our high standards of quality across all projects. The Quality Assurance Inspector will be responsible for ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations while contributing to our mission of delivering exceptional service.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough inspections of materials and processes to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Utilize vision inspection systems and coordinate measuring machines for accurate assessments.
- Document inspection results and maintain detailed records of quality metrics.
- Collaborate with project teams to identify quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure adherence to ISO 13485 and CGMP standards throughout production processes.
- Assist in the development and implementation of quality management systems.
- Provide training and guidance on quality assurance practices to team members.
- Have general knowledge of all trades from excavation to concrete to mechanical installations to piping and welding and some electrical.
- Basic knowledge of excel, word, adobe, Bluebeam and Navisworks 3D model.
- Convert excel spread sheet documents into fillable pdf forms on an iPad.
- Read and understand P&ID’s.
- Record data from the field into accurate mapping of all welds and torque tracking.
- Coordinate with client representatives for any issues/problems or concerns.
- Coordinate with site management on any RFI’s client notifications or change orders.
- Help site management develop best practices to solve any quality of work issues.
- Walk all job sites daily to interact with trades and inspectors, keep an eye out for any possible quality issues.
- Train and mentor all employees to improve overall capabilities and quality of work.
- Limit or eliminate as much rework as possible.
- Follow all MSHA/OSHA safety standards.
- Be a team player, willingness to do all that in needed.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Inspector or similar role in industrial construction or manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of quality systems and inspection techniques.
- Familiarity with HACCP principles and ISO 13485 standards is preferred.
- Ability to read technical drawings and specifications accurately.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical skills.
- Effective communication skills for collaboration with diverse teams.

Pay: $26.00 – $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 50.0 – 80.0 per week
