Position: Inspection Advisor for Oil & Gas
Join NSB Omega as an Inspection Advisor for a major Oil & Gas client in Sarnia, ON. Leverage your expertise to ensure quality in SO2 Reduction Projects and compliance in various inspections.
In this contractor stewardship role, you will build relationships with contractors and vendors, ensuring they follow the quality inspection program. Your responsibilities include reviewing fabrication and Vendor ITPs, conducting vendor drawing reviews, and witnessing hydrotests. You’ll also identify defects, write reports, and collaborate with the project’s QA/QC lead.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain relationships with contractors and fabricators
• Review welding and NDE procedures effectively
• Conduct inspections and witness hydrotests
• Write detailed reports on fabrication findings
• Liaise with project engineers and resolve non-conformances
Requirements:
• Experience in quality assurance activities
• Background in Oil & Gas industry
•
Certifications:
CWB Level 2, API 510, or API 570
• Willing to travel for project support
• Previous experience in a similar role
