Our client located in Fitchburg, MA is seeking a qualified Inspection Operator to join their team! This is a temp-to-hire role that offers opportunities for growth and stability.
Schedule: 3:00pm – 11:00pm
Hourly Rate: $23.00/hr
Inspection Operator
Job Summary:
The Inspector Operator evaluates products at various stages of the production process through visual inspection and/or product testing to ensure product requirements are met. The inspector also removes debris and defective parts from the product.
Job Duties:
Read and follow work instructions for each assigned product
Ensure product quality through visual inspection for defects as specified in Work Instructions and report any defects immediately
Load and sift product to remove debris and defective parts
Inspect and verify visual conformance of parts to product requirements
Weigh and count products and transfer them to the appropriate inventory locations
Conduct dimensional tests on products
Maintain inventory of completed products
Complete in-process documentation and records according to GDP standards
Understand and adhere to our Quality Policy, Statement, and Objectives, and maintain a basic understanding of quality management systems related to ISO 13485
Skills &
Qualifications:
High School diploma or GED
Ability to read and understand written work instructions
Ability to understand verbal instructions
Basic computer skills for data entry
