Job Summary
Verify purchased, fabricated & assembled parts and finished goods conform to applicable acceptance standards.
Responsibilities
Interpret & apply accept/reject standards for parts and assemblies (goods).
Apply appropriate inspection practices and procedures based on training and experience.
Assist in the development of accept/reject standards.
Direct non-conforming goods for subsequent disposition.
Operate & maintain laser engraving tagging equipment.
Manage Inspection inventory.
Ensure products are tagged & marked in compliance with legal agreements.
Other duties as may be assigned.
Qualifications
Able to:
Read and interpret specification.
Lift 50 lbs. unaided.
Walk & stand for approximately 8 hours per day in a conditioned shop environment.
3 years of applicable experience.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Computer proficiency
