How can you support us? Here are below your responsibilities:
- Review Purchase Order and all the contractual documentation in order to detect discrepancies and prevent any misunderstanding that could potentially cause delays
- Ensure a supply chain management approach in order to timely identify and manage any potential cause of delay, and mitigate delays already detected
- Ensure specialist support to engineering department to vendor quality control documents review (ITP, NDT procedures, FAT procedures, etc.)
- Perform or supervise inspections and tests in compliance with Inspection and Test Plan (e.g., Electrical equipment and cable testing; Instrumentation equipment and bulk materials testing; Static equipment fabrication and materials testing; welding process)
- Ensure timely issuance of Inspection Reports
- Issue Non-Conformity Reports and Punch Lists in case of not satisfactory inspection
- Ensure the vendor Manufactured Data Book review and approval
- Issue vendor performance feedback as per Saipem Vendor Management process
What are we looking for?
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, Materials Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
- Minimum 5–8 years of experience in Quality Control, Inspection, or Inspection Coordination within the Oil & Gas, EPC, Petrochemical, or Energy industry.
- Proven experience coordinating vendor inspections, expediting inspection activities, and managing quality documentation throughout the manufacturing process.
- Strong knowledge of international codes and standards such as ASME, API, ASTM, ISO, IEC, AWS, NACE, and other applicable industry standards.
- Experienced in reviewing quality documents, including Inspection and Test Plans (ITP), NDT Procedures, Welding Procedures (WPS/PQR), FAT Procedures, Quality Plans, and Manufacturing Data Books (MDB).
- Familiar with inspection activities for static equipment, piping, structural steel, electrical equipment, instrumentation, valves, and packaged equipment
- Experience in managing Non-Conformity Reports (NCRs), Punch Lists, corrective actions, and vendor performance evaluations.
- Strong ability to review contractual and purchase order requirements to ensure compliance with project specifications and quality standards.
- Excellent coordination, communication, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to work effectively with engineering teams, procurement, vendors, clients, and third-party inspection agencies.
- Able to work independently, prioritize multiple inspection activities, and meet project deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
- Willing to travel domestically and internationally for vendor inspections and project requirement
